Inclined to agreed........if a decent engine and you don't have to redo the complete body then has some potential, otherwise a money pit

If you can find the body panels, though remember seeing a front wing for sale recently , advertised for a Bora, but are the same.

Definitely worth following up if interested in this type...
Obviously make your own inquiries before bidding!, but here is a translation of a few of the points:
- Starts and runs -
- Damage does not involve suspension -
- A lot of work carried out prior to accident, engine is perfect -
- Included in the sale are all original (used) parts to carry out repairs, except for windscreen (cracked), and bonnet (repairable) -
- Seller will answer/clarify any questions and give further information and car can be viewed -

Edit - forgot to add...
- Black cloth interior in excellent condition -

If it comes with the repair panels, definitely. Just makes you wonder why someone would go to the trouble of buying all the parts and not fixing it? The chassis legs may be twisted.

You've got to get it over from Italy which will cost, possible hidden issues as Matt says, LHD and after all that you have a white Merak with a cloth interior. IMO, not worth the hassle. BTW, didn't Clarksons have a recently rebuilt motor in excellent condition?

Clarksons engine was rebuilt yes but then the oil pump started to fail and you can clearly see the oil light on in the VT.

Any normal person would have pulled over and work out what the issue was but no, not Clarkson.

He wrecked that engine for the comedy value and no engine can run without oil pressure.
