Not seen one in black. I thought that they were all in blue
There’s a good few black ones about. They’re all debating the xenons, it doesn’t have any. I’d buy the car at current sort of value but it surely has to go to >$40k??

Do the Xenon lights look different?

I am confused by this car. In general all cars equipped with Xenons will have headlamp washers and automatic self-levelling (mandatory requirements) and cars not Xenon equipped will have a manual headlight height adjust. This car has neither washers or manual height adjust. I must conclude Xenons are not fitted but did non-Xenon Gransports not have a manual height adjust?

Those regs don’t exist in the USA, there’s no requirement for washers on headlights over a certain lumen level like there is in Europe.

Whether Maserati always fitted washers with Xenon over there I can’t answer.

Well I didn’t know that. Thanks for the pointer.

The Xenons aren't exactly bright anyway, it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me on a GS. Especially not one with those seats, and that blue weave, and the alcantara, and, and and....

This would appear to be a bargain then and as a Left Hand Drive car would be perfect for European trips... how much would it cost to have shipped and registered in the UK?

£1200, plus import duty of 5% or so, plus 20% vat, £55 to register it.
So c. 25% uplift on purchase price, plus £1,250…

so if you bought it for $35,000 (£28k), that would be c£37k to get it to the UK, and if it went to $40,000, it would be roughly £42k to get it here... seems like the prices are a lot softer in the US?

As the car was originally built in the EU I believe it is actually only £50 duty and 20% VAT, based on the amount you paid for the car. It is a little known rule because most cars being imported from the US are US built.

So if the car were to sell for 40k, there would be circa 10k of additional costs to cover the UK delivery, duty and VAT implications?
