So, I need rear tyres.
Currently have P Zeros, which have been fine in 40 degree C South of France two summers ago. But 1000 feet up in the Cotswolds in winter, by gad a gentle foot.....

So I've listened to all you boys. I have chosen Michelin for all the cars in the past; They are nice soft, quiet, decent grip.

In replacement two criteria: Noise and grip (wet/dry/cold)

I can see that their noise rating is similar to P Zeros ~74bd, and would be happy to give them a try.

285/35 ZR20 Y rated P zeros are about £247.11 each; Michelin Pilot Super Sports about the same.

However, I don't think the PSS are the PS4S as I don't think it comes in this size.

Could someone point me to where I can obtain PS4S in this size and rating? Or aren't they available?

Have a look at the Michelin website. It's actually pretty good. Use the thing that tells you which tyres are available for your car.

Costco is a proper Michelin supplier, and seems to get tyres that 'normal' dealers do not - PS4Ss were available for my car at Costco before they were listed on the Michelin site, oddly enough.

Worth a look on eBay. I've had good experiences buying tyres brand new for my Lotus and lightly used for the GTS ( as a precaution until I got my geo sorted). Big savings, no issues. Check out date codes, depth and any repairs though.

Em, yeh, up to you but there is no way I’d do that. Get the fronts on eBay, replace all four and wonder why you didn’t do it sooner.

Being in Costco today I took a quote for above. Not readily available. Have to be ordered online or in-store with up to a week notice

I got P4s for the FF next day. I think they like to underpromise and overdeliver at Costco. Ordered online with £25 off each when you buy 4.

I forgot about Costco for tyres, my mum has just sent me a trade member card. Will make use of that when Alex's ML needs new tyres.
