Flew through the mot today. No advisories.

Also fitted the rear ps4s bought from Camskill. The car has been transformed. Fronts were already Michelin but not if feels planted instead of jittery. It was only 9 miles back home but I enjoyed the twisty lanes back.

Had the front wheels balanced again and there was a wobble >125. 30g out ns and 10g out is. How do tyre fitters get it that wrong!!

Good old Camskill, it's a shame more people didn't use him, had a factory shop with all sorts of lines going, suspension etc, wasn't paying so turned it in to work at Sellafield and now dealing online only.

Mine flew through MOT recently too. Since then though noticed bubble on sidewall of one of front PS4S, no doubt a pothole interface. Still plenty of life left in them too, Grrrrrrr.

However, if anyone is close to needing new tyres there is a 15% discount on Michelin at black circles today, well worth the saving, £375 fully fitted for 2 new fronts.
At least I can keep the good one for any further mishaps!

In Ireland they have pre-NCT (NCT = MOT) tests cos the test is so tough. They're everywhere on the Northside at least, Southside can afford to pay for proper day-to-day maintenance!

Last time I went to the shop, they didn't offer a fitting service which was disappointing when you live relatively nearby (on the scale of Cumbria).

They're prices for tyres online are good, but when you look at Black Circles, there's not much in it. Without an easy means of fitting, it's inevitable that quite a slice of customers will look at alternatives, unless I'm missing something.

I don't intend this post to come across as being critical at all btw, business is tough.
