Welcome! Nice to have another QP afficionado!

What model is it? It has the Executive GT chrome wire grillE but not the associated badges on the outside and doesn't look to have the wooden steering wheel. Also given the numberplate I presume it's a Duoselect?
Eb
Hi,
Yes, its a duoselect, and it has the leather steering wheel not the wooden one.
I assume somebody must have changed the front grill at some point in the past

Welcome George. That looks a nice example. Can we have some interior pis please.
Hi Simon,
Thanks for the reply, I am still working on the interior but this is how it looks at the moment, the drivers seat and some of the fabric and plastic needs improving

Rathet than improve, maintain and consolidate... ie make sure the subframe is protected as soon as possible if it has not already been done.

The roads are getting salted and there is no point spending on cosmetic or aural improvements if the car fails it's next MOT due to rust.

Hope it is in fine fettle otherwise and that it brings you years of joy.
Thanks,
The subframes needed substantial work for its MOT and they have been welded and painted so all should be fine for the next few years.
The brakes have also been completely overhauled with new discs and pads front and back and a replacement handbrake cable.
I also had to renew two of the wishbones and a number of suspension bushes.
New cam cover seals were also fitted as well as a service so the car is running great and pretty sorted mechanically, just a few niggly electrical issues and some cosmetic faffing to do.

That is a nice colour combination.
It's not the car from Scotland is it ?
Yes, I bought it from Graham from Glasgow but the car had been in Wick for a few years.
I live closer to Edinburgh and the car was originally supplied by Greypaul of Edinburgh

Welcome George. I would personally lose that massive front plate. I use a smaller one. Looks like it is screwed direct to bumper and it does not have the carrier/bracket.

Welcome George. Glad you found the forum and glad the car is now back on the road. Plenty of good advice here and lots of banter.
I’m still trying to sort a sat nav disc for you.
