Next on the list is the headlining… I’ve got passenger and driver side sagging plus c pillar sagging.
Need to find a trimmer, possibly black alcantara depending on costs. Think I may leave this until the winter period though.

Next up, the new brakes. I was trying to bed them in on the 80 mile journey home but not easy in bank holiday traffic. What I can say is that I now have the confidence that it will stop properly when asked to. The OEM brakes where adequate at best.. the feel and power of Zep’s uprated discs is something else. To elaborate they are 380 mm fronts, fully floating with an aluminium bell and curved internal cooling vanes (Up from 360 mm OEM)
The rears are 342 mm fixed aluminium bell, straight internal cooling vanes (up from 330 mm OEM)
Both sets weigh a great deal less than the OEM discs - and they just look absolutely great in the arches behind the Neptunes. I’ve got a road trip to France coming up so I will report back on the brakes once properly bedded in and exercised around the twisty roads of the Loire Valley.
Here are some close up pics, although they don’t really do them justice.

Glad you are happy, the feedback is universally good, which makes it worthwhile doing it. Look forward to your views when you get to exercise them.

Thanks Zep. They definitely give you that confidence that was somewhat missing with the standard discs (I only did 80 miles in traffic)
I dare say with the addition of braided hoses, the combination is an absolute winner and a complete no brainer when replacing any discs on a 4.7, with the added bonus that they just look simply stunning.
Well done you

Hi Sam,
I’ll check the ProBrake part number supplied to me later today.
The problem was the end block on the front caliper hoses, where the hose attaches to the caliper itself. The block was too wide and did not fit plus the hole diameter for the banjo bolt in the center of that block was also too large so it would not seal. ProBrake have offered to replace for the correct ones but it is obviously slightly annoying since everything was apart for the new uprated discs and pads. Pics from AV.

I think they may have picked the wrong kit for me, they sent me A05549.
But I gather Sam has been sent A05550 for his 4.7
Do you know the part number they sent you Gaz?

For what it’s worth, I am getting hold of some old hoses to have copies made in the U.K. to prevent this sort of thing happening. But it will be a couple of months.

For the Qp S, if you remember they sent the first set with the wrong end to the brake pipe connection, but I think it was down to their database being incorrect or so they said. This is the detail for the pack they resent.

I guess the danger with using part numbers is they will all be different depending on what finish you select. The contact email is responded to very quickly. It is a Maximillian Wehner in all my correspondence with them.

Thanks Gaz. They responded to me straight away despite it being a 3 year old order!
Was that all 4 hoses on your print out above?
The rear hoses they sent me fitted fine, the problem was the front only.

Apologies, that was the rears. The fronts fitted fine first time.
Their gt kit is A05550 as they sent details when I was enquiring about the Strad. Just found the email.
Front: Length 575mm, inner thread, banjo m10
Rear: Length 400mm, inner thread, outer thread.
