Hey buddy, just wanted to pick your brains again regarding springs.

Like you I'd only want to lower the rear of the car given that the front is low enough for me, did lowering the rear only have an impact on the geometry/ balance?

I'd have thought it'd make it more biased to the rear, making for a slower turn in on high speed corners?

I couldn’t tell any difference on my 80 mile drive home from AV and yesterday I went for a quick blast and again, didn’t feel any different to me.
H&R do offer a lowering spring kit for the GT but it’s 15mm front and 35mm rear, which is too much on the rear cosmetically for me personally.
But in essence what I’ve done is roughly the difference between the axels on the H&R springs anyway.

That's great to hear.

They came back to me today and told me 49 & 50 were identical! The mind boggles.
On reflection what Gaz posted is correct. The front hoses they sent me have M12 banjos. They should be M10. So it makes sense that the following is correct:

Front: Length 575mm, inner thread, banjo m10
Rear: Length 400mm, inner thread, outer thread.

ProBrake have asked me to return the incorrect fronts only and they will replace them.
I have to say, great service given that I ordered mine in 2019!

Just to confirm that my A05550 pro-brake kit was the correct fitment.

Quick update, pro-brake returned the front hoses, now with the correct M10 Banjos.
Just waiting for the black H&R spacers which are on back order before I make another trip to AV.
Great news buddy.

I had to wait 3 weeks for my spacers to arrive from Germany.
As for going back to AV... get in the queue. Hahaha

Good news.
Just a heads up - while you wait for AV, start putting penetrating fluid regularly on your bleed nipples, particularly your inner ones.
Also do the same at the connection between the hard-pipe and flexible hose in the wheel arch as the hard pipe corrodes and seizes to the union. You then can't undo the union without the hard pipe twisting and braking.

Yes, I've just had to have both front hard pipes replaced too while fitting my braided lines. :battered:

Spotted your car on the latest episode of Sam’s Seen Through Glass YouTube channel..

Also some mentions in the video of legendness regarding your 360! :)

@Bebs just reading back through your posts on the upgrades you’ve done…did you sell your aluminium 22/25mm spacers already?
Yes I’m afraid they were sold straight away.
I need to take some pics of the uprated discs fitted front and rear with the black spacers and do a quick review of the brakes.
Will aim to get that done asap and update here.

Is that H and R part number B5065670 and B4465670? Some places seem to list them as 5x114 and others as 5x114.3. Not that the .3mm should make that much difference.

No H&R part numbers on my order unfortunately so I can’t confirm either way. They definitely fit as they are on the car now.
