Nice Blockheads Tee.
They’re my favourite band. The attached montage picture is me singing and playing with them at my 50th Birthday party, which was an awesome and privileged experience.

Ian and Charlie (the drummer) are no longer with us, but most of the original members such as Co-writer and guitarist Chaz Jankel, Mickey Gallagher, John Turnbull and the legendary Norman Watt Roy on bass are still performing as The Blockheads and I’ve seen them many times. Still a very talented bunch making new music. I’m on backing vocals on their latest album “Beyond The Call of Drury”

Seen them many times. Fantastic.

Even saw them do NB&P with Phil Jupitus on vocals. He was excellent.

Miss Ian though. I saw them at an early pub gig and a journalist said to him, “You’re putting all that twitching stuff on, aren’t you?”. ID: “Puttng it on? I’m tryin’ to F’in hide it!” Fabulous.

My wife drives a Cayman S, we met Karting (Porsche Club V TVR Club), I was the poorest Porsche owner, although in my early 20's at the time...long while ago now btw.
These days my car habit is tolerated (at best), and I should be grateful that even our honeymoon was a Porsche Festival (yes, I'm a proper anorak).
I expect big road trips will be will be with either you guys or a good friend of mine in future. Bit of a shame as I have some very very sweet cars, but some 'fellow man' car fun is perhaps no bad thing.
One thing's for sure, post covid, I'll appreciate grand road trips more than ever, and sod the expense!

Mine doesn't get it either, she's happy if it's reliable and she can see out of the back to reverse it , her last car had reversing sensors, a camera and the usual 3 mirrors but she still looks over her shoulder to back up, the saab convertible is gone because she couldn't see out of the back window , replaced with a mini cooper which she does like, she only drives to her mums and back and the shops occasionally so I'm done with buying newish cars for her
picked this mini cooper up for £1000 , surprisingly fun to drive , needs a bit of money spending on it , good spec though

Like that (unbloated) model of Mini.

Strange to think they've now been around for twenty years. As a serial classic Mini owner it took me a long while to come round to them, I've flirted with the idea of having a cheap one but I like my Alfa too much and am determined my next 'modern' will be my first Maser. A mate at work recently bought a new Mini 2.0 and let me have a go in it, I was surprised at how much I liked it.

When changing my wife’s car in 2009, typically she said she didn’t care what car I got her. I had always fancied the BMW Mini so got her a Cooper S which I enjoyed rather a lot but she said meant she had to slow down too much at speed humps !! 5 years later she swapped it for the Corsa when I had my back turned !

Fortunately mine does get it - she enjoyed the Pagani, Maserati and Panini Collection tours on the TTP trip about as much as I did.
After driving a succession of Ford Fiestas she's now graduated to the Audi RS Q3 (it passed muster as a small, fun to drive, 4x4 - which were her criteria) and enjoys not being 'bullied' on the road as she was in pink Fiesta - apparently other drivers react differently to a red fast Audi...

I just love my mini. it’s probably worth more than my QP now.

Rolling back the many years to meeting Jeanette: All tits and eager to please and a wannabee biker chick! I was sold and spent months teaching her to ride a bike and she rapidly passed her test and over the following few years got through a succession of bikes up to the ZX10-R which was a true beast of a machine. I in the meantime had bikes and cars (and pick up truck). Some of these were Italian and when kids came alone the Italian thing continued albeit with sheds like an Uno 1,000 followed by a Fiat Rigatta! The Rigatta wasn't all bad as it was new, a big saloon with four doors and being a 'post production' car was basically a parts bin build! It was 'interesting' to buy parts for and had a few tweaks that Luigi had built into it... Anyway at this point Jeanette miraculously passed her car test and proceeded to knock every corner off the Rigatta and the next three vehicles as she tried to fit them in bike sized gaps! As the family grew so did the cars into a Fiat Ulysses (truly awful thing) and then a Kia Sedona. About this time she finally got the gist of knowing where the corners were! We went back to a small car for the family (crazy with five kids) and just took two if we were all going somewhere, the void was filled with a Mk1 Discovery and then the Van with rear seats and then the Maserati came along. What is amazing is that when four years ago she got to choose any car as a lease vehicle, she went Italian with the Alfa, it got nicked and she replaced it with an Alfa, it went back and she replaced it with an Alfa and finally when the lease was up she bought another new Alfa... Safe to say she gets the whole Italian thing!

Lucky man, ;) Kaz used to be into cars and it was and still is great , as we age together my biggest fear will be that if alzheimers sets in it might make her forget what she liked about them , worse still i get it and forget where i left the keys lol

the mini didn’t last long , it was sold to me as a good car but was let’s just say problematic , it’s gone to a breaker because of a number of faults , I delivered it because amazingly the breaker was in Bedford and my new car was 15 miles away

of course the mini ran like a Swiss watch all the way there and was delivered with no warning lights on, typical

the replacement is a bit bigger , it’s about 2ft wider than the mini so I was a bit nervous on mrs wack’s first outing but she didn’t come back with a cyclist under the passenger wiper so she must be OK , I daren’t7216672167 review the dash cam footage though

I’ve had it since Thursday , love it , such an effortless drive , it came with a service bill for £800 1000 miles ago which I assume included a gearbox oil change as it’s that smooth you can barely detect the changes
one owner from new , 2007 64,000 miles E280 3.0 V6

I read they can be chipped to 300 bhp but it’s fast enough as it is

it belonged to a guy called Sid who sadly is no longer with us but I have built a picture up of him , leather driving gloves found in the under seat storage , a cloth for mopping his brow , a whistler laser detector and a de badged car

I forgot the price I paid for this pinnacle of mercedes engineering £3300.

I've been advised if I like it don't replace it with a newer E Class because this generation was built by engineers , not accountants

I keep finding things it's got
Auto wipers
Front parking sensors
Xenon lights
Dual climate control
Heated seats

This one's a keeper
