Hello all, new 2000 V 3200GT owner. Picked up a couple of weeks ago and now with Vic at Migliore for some fettling.

Always wanted one of these, and after several Alfas including a V6 GTV which is currently having a suspension rebuild I reckon I can cope with the inevitable heartache.

Looking forward to swapping tips and seeing some of you at shows.

Alfa heartache and 3200 heartache aren’t even in the same postcode on a different planet. You’d be better off nailing your d!ck to the table while shoving burning £50s up your chuff and snorting wet cement off a Thai crack whores todger. Good luck to you mate, after you’ve found the third threshold of he!l I’m sure you will eventually find the appropriate agency to rehabilitate you back to some form of useful existence. Welcome to the madness. :D

Absolute class. Haven’t laughed so much for ages.
Do you have the number for that Thai *****, asking for a friend.

No. IIRC, the pink finished with the M model, mine’s the later A and is a fetching shade of candy red as is the GS.

Welcome, still miss the 32, even with all the unpredictable charm Benny described so eloquently, so slightly envious. Enjoy!

Indeed. In my youth (I’ve had the GT for 30 years and the GS for 25 years), I decided to go for the last of the big Suzuki 2 strokes and the first of the big Suzuki 4 strokes which has worked out well as quite a few parts were carried across. There’s a fairly big kettle scene but not so much for the GS so I can still get quite a few bits for both. They are even making brand new complete GT exhaust systems but the GS ones are just about impossible to find now. Fortunately I put a brand new one on in 1995 and it’s only done 2,300 miles since. I’m just hoping it’s survived in reasonable condition as I haven’t dug it out yet from the inside of the garage. I guess I’ll find out later this week!

Masochism sort of goes with the territory I suppose. And contortionism apparently.
