Is there much difference between the 2 and 4 seater? I'd love a Strad' and would be quite happy with a 2 seater.

A few.
2 seat has 2 carbon shelled bucket seats and a shelf where the 4 seat has seats
2 seat has 450 bhp, 4 seat 460 bhp - but the 4 seat weighs more.
2 seat has a plastic bonnet with less vents, 4 seat has a carbon bonnet with larger holes in it
There are variations in wheel design

Oh and some (3 in the UK i believe) 2 seaters have roll cages.

To put 2 seats in a car that size it stupid...but that all adds to the charm of the overall package. If you don’t need the 4 seats buy a 2...if you can find one.

Two seater is worth having over the 4 for those wonderful bucket seats........The 4 seater seats aren't that much different to the standard car....That's if you don't need four seats. When I drove a two seater it felt more of an occasion than the 4 seater which is still an occasion but it was down to those seats. And get a two seater with harness and it adds to that.... Very special.

Harnesses are cool and add to the occasion, but from experience with a GT3 Club Sport, I ended up removing them for road use, they're a real pain and rattle about when you're not using them.
A Strad', great though it is, isn't the kind of car I'd choose to take to a track.
Having said that, I really like bucket seats.

Ditto on the harnesses for a road car. They’re very restrictive......until someone invents a retractable one.

Completely stupid. And yet I would not have bought my Vanquish if it was a 4-Seater. The rear seats are useless anyway so 2+0 for me please, a rare thing I found. Even rarer with the lighweight carbon fibre/kevlar seats (gratuitous photo time)........

I am slowly building a collection of cars with rare option lightweight carbon fibre seats (that's not true I have 2 such cars but I am telling myself that so that I can in the future justify the inclusion of a 2-Seater Stradale which to me is the ultimate incarnation of the GranTurismo which in itself is a fine and very under-rated car). Mind you any Strad is a good Strad (assuming looked after and serviced properly).

My GF refused point blank to get into a car with harnesses... stating it would be rather uncomfortable chafing on her inner thighs... but I did emphasis that they also acted as an extra safety feature... to which she retorted "what as a chastity belt!'

Even with the harness does the Stradale have normal seat belts as well ?.....I know in the Cayman GT4 you could have both so you can use what you want for the perfect driving situation.

The roll hoop and harnesses were add-on options, so you still got the standard belts in the 2 seater.

As/if an appropriate 2 seat Strad comes available, I'll probably swap my GC-MC for it. I don't need the rear seats, and as others have mentioned, it's the added silliness and sense of occasion of the 2 seat version that appeals to me.

Regarding back seats the two seater...(^^).. Mine has two little cushions where the plastic tray thingy is. It can seat decent size people in there, and access is also good as the front seats flop forward quite far.

Of course, there are no seatbelts, and therefore not a proposition for a long run (or short fast one). But for pootling to a café around the corner, or dropping 2 kids at the cinema, it works. I am not endorsing this usage, just saying that sometimes it has been handy.

You are also only aloud to carry 2 persons in the front seats as outlined in your insurance. If you were to have an accident and the person in the rear ended up on the bonnet...well, I think you know the rest.

Yes. Very true. Not endorsing this use at all. Just, in my case, has been handy a couple of times.
