Good.

Not counting chickens but it's easy to be a doom monger.....

I think it looks promising! I've had a few people advise me that the milkiness was simply a matter of condensation and so far that theory looks to have some substance. Like all these things, taking your eye off the ball can lead to bills so I will monitor it closely.

UPDATE: Just ticked over car again for 5 odd minutes, not been started in 3 days an scared of a flat battery!

Coolant levels look ok compared to when I last checked on weekend. However I turned car off and locked her then I heard a 'sizzling' noise every 20 seconds or so. Noise coming from the region directly under driver seat and It clearly sounds like something hot making contact with the wet outdoor surface. I can only suspect this to be a minor coolant leak somewhere.

Are there any hoses/pipes which run around this region of the car?

The cat is designed to get up to 200-300c in a few minutes. That’s what the secondary air pump is for.

Still learning all this stuff. What a resource this forum is. Thanks

Ps. Anybody know what pressure the cooling system can be tested to? The coolant cap doesn't state the pressure.

Condensation in exhaust. Mine does that if I move it out of garage and switch off. Joints to x pipe drip too until warmed through.

That's no bad thing that the water can escape via drips as you don't want it sitting in the system.
Most exhaust systems have a little hole built into them for that purpose.

Yep not a problem a problem for me. I just need to swap out the horrible exhaust clamps that it came with.

Car is due to be TK tested and pressure tested tomorrow. Does anybody know what bar pressure the cooling system can tolerate? Isn't the coolant cap meant to indicate the max pressure?

Take it up to 20 psi max probably find a problem around 15 psi if it's a hose, coolant reservoir or radiator issue.
Another good test if the garage has emissions equipment is to hover the probe over the coolant bottle with the cap off and see if it picks up exhaust gases.

Great thanks! Should i bring coolant in case i need to top up?

You can do but if you find a problem it will need addressing.
If it's a split rear hose you might not be driving home.

Hmm cant actually afford to leave it if that was the case! Ive a wedding booking on Monday and would rather leave it until after that!

So the pressure test could theoretically make an issue worst?

If it's weak and let's go I'm afraid especially if it's a hose.
