I also had a record number of faults - 11! To be fair 5 due to TPMS and 2 due to a failed parking sensor (told me which one it is - bonus!) but also lots of spurious ones about under volt in passenger door mirror which works perfectly, battery under voltage which TBF is probs true cos I'm hardly using car.

Issue I have is I can't get it off the socket now! So I've left it in there - now last time I did that with my previous car it flattened the battery over weekend but it was 2014 - perhaps they consume less power now? So, any issues?

Glad it worked for you too Mine showed plenty of faults the first time, but after taking the car for a long run, the faults miraculously disappeared! Sorry to hear it's stuck in the port. I had no such problem and cannot advise whether it will flatten your battery or not. I'm sure some gentle tugging will release it

May I resurrect this thread from a few years back and ask for forum opinion?

I'm after a relatively simple OBD reader for my QPV to read (not necessarily delete) error codes.

If its cheaper to use blue tooth based solution through android even better.

Any suggestions?

(For context, I m planning a trip into the continent for Easter, the longest since before covid and would like to have a sense whether I can continue or absolutely stop if I see an error on the dash).

Yes, the Autel AP200 Bluetooth OBD2 Scanner, typically £55, will read and clear codes and do a few basic things like service resets. You can probably get away with spending less if you just want to read the codes covered by the EOBD standard, as any OBD2 reader will do this.

Would have been nice to monitor the transmission fluid when changing it. What tool does that? Mine is a QPS 2009. ZF.

My Launch X431 Pros mini through live data on the transmission module will do it so you can do the job properly.
