In a word, yes:

EasyMas

We have been co developing it with Steve and the current project is service tokens which is nearly complete.

After this, ABS and Airbag systems then it will be the complete tool for 4200-QP5-GranTurismo.

Will be available in lite and pro versions with all systems accessible. Clutch setup, bleeding, actuator relearn etc.

I would anticipate it being complete, the middle of 2020.

Once released, Steve and SportsItalia will move to Ghib/QP6/Levante.

There is some confusion with the Foxwell 510. It has a scroll down entry for both 3200GT and 3200OBD. After some messing about & talk with Robert at North Down it seems the 3200GT entry does not communicate with SD2 Ecu's.
I remain sceptical until I find a 3200OBD to try it out. AFAIK the Foxwell brand is Chinese, the same firm who sell diagnostic tools which claim to support SD2 in emulation mode. ATM I'm trying to get the Unidiag software to work. I now find the software tries to communicate with a Nokia Bluetooth system rather than the ECU. Am deactivating the Nokia box of tricks for another attempt.

I think you need to be clear what you want to do with it. I bought a cheap as chips e-bay reader very like this one for my 2001 3200 GTA

I also got a wifi unit that connects to my I-pad or phone and i run "dash command" and these work to some level, no problems.

Most of the readers with the exception of the Maserati SD-2 offical unit will read standard ODBII codes and give you a rough idea of manufacturer special codes but not a clear meaning. Most will clear ECU errors.

The functions you do not get on any off the shelf units are access to the brake system, air bag system and suspension system. And none of them allow any of the intelligent control functions on the engine ECU like erasing the auto throttle functions and auto mixture adjustment.

By being able to read codes and clear major errors you can get by and cure 99% of what you need, and also save a lot of time when you have to go to a garage who do have the SD2 unit.

To my knowledge most readers that claim compatibility with the 3200 are just saying they can read codes and perform standard code clear functions, and so get a cheap one and save your self some money.

I have a slight problem with my year 2000 3200GT. Driver's airbag light is on - my fault! The car is SORNed and needs an MOT, but my local MOT man can't reset the light, so won't give it an MOT. Do i drive to somewhere else and get an MOT where they can reset the light on the basis that i have an appointment (risky as the nearest is 70 miles away!) or is there anyone near Dereham in Norfolk who has the correct software to reset the airbag on a pre-OBD car? Happy to pay!
Thanks

I bought a Foxwell NT510 Pro loaded with all Maserati software for GBP 157.50 from North Down Diagnostics in 2017 and it does reset the service light. If in doubt speak to Robert in retail,he's very helpful.
Call 02891 310 043.

I can second that - I have the NT520 with all the Maserati software....from Foxwell

Hi I have a 2016 Ghibli diesel. Maserati just closed my nearest dealer and now would have to drive 4 hours round trip to get a service. Car is out of warranty so had the engineer who looks after my XKR do a service and oil change and yes you guessed it the service light won't turn off. Does anybody have know a reasonably priced tool/reader that can clear these light?

ODB Star x-200 pro should work according to this YouTuber

It certainly works on a Granturismo

Think a few people have the X200 (including me) so if you say where you are maybe someone will be close enough for you to test it?

Great idea, thank you. I live in the Lake District near Kendal, so if anybody has OBD X200 that I could try on a Ghibi V6 Diesel before I buy It would be very much appreciated.

I took a £50 gamble on this after a recommendation elsewhere, and was able to reset the service. It also analyses many of the car’s systems. Great value and works via an app on the iPhone.

Definitely works on QPV? Do you have to specify the car make on order or is it generic?

Each purchase entitles you to a free ‘manufacturer’. Once you register the unit, you download the Maserati software and can choose from the various models. You can buy more ‘manufacturers’ as required for around $20 each from what I remember.

Cheers! Got one - tried it today and it does indeed reset the service spanner. Cheers!

I also had a record number of faults - 11! To be fair 5 due to TPMS and 2 due to a failed parking sensor (told me which one it is - bonus!) but also lots of spurious ones about under volt in passenger door mirror which works perfectly, battery under voltage which TBF is probs true cos I'm hardly using car.

Issue I have is I can't get it off the socket now! So I've left it in there - now last time I did that with my previous car it flattened the battery over weekend but it was 2014 - perhaps they consume less power now? So, any issues?
