One rear door not opening

Randomly one rear door won't open sometimes. Other three and boot open fine. Anyone got any ideas?

It's most likely the actuator in the door that's playing up.

Don’t suppose someone was trying to open it just as you were unlocking it. That often fu*ks it up.

It won't undo from the outside so it can't be child lock. Where abouts is the actuator and is it a difficult job? It does work some times but more often it doesn't work.

Before the old battery finally expired on my QP V the front passenger door lock sometimes refused to open from the outside, but with a healthy new battery it's fine. I suspect the actuators get a bit tired and need full 12v to operate efficiently.

You need to remove the door panel as it will be inside the door.

If its the electo actuated door handle it could be the ECU or a broken wire that has blown the ECU .......thats what happened to me......get an OBD reader on it........

As mentioned previously make sure it’s not the battery mine was the same (could only open on manual button) no easy access even if old battery was fully charged.
put a new battery on and everything working fine again.

I agree. Brilliant. And they make great use of a range of techniques; mixing up fly-on-the-wall mockumentary, breaking the 'fourth wall', straight interviews, etc.
