You should start a YouTube channel... Phil the Brit, working on French s***.
It has been suggested but I'm not savvy enough to do it myself but could be amusing I'm sure.
I watched a UK guy working on a Renault 16 TX sat inside the engine bay removing the water pump breaking bolts going into the alloy cylinder head and it could put anyone off going anywhere near a car and he's a renowned specialist.
In between jobs I thought I will take the one of my 75 TX not one broken bolt :)

I should have videoed it ;)
Don't get me wrong it took awhile but slowly slowly catch a monkey.

Surprised the car has not had a heart attack given that build up of gunk.

No exhaust pipes on this Taycan and yet there was a Turbo badge. Odd. Loved the colour though and hope it was on a coffee run to go with its number plate…103954

My hedge trimmer cried I've had enough yesterday.
Never ever done this on a two stroke motorcycle even doing Enduros.
All taken apart with a 1/4 Inch drive ratchet.IMG_20220730_142939.jpgIMG_20220730_143024.jpg

Use the same stuff I put in my Stihl chainsaw and that works hard.
I'm sure it got too hot as the cooling fins were all chocker with debris.
My own fault as I've only ever cleaned the air filter.

I did something similar with my Beetle the bitumen sound deadening sheet fell against the fan and it seized on the M25.

Beetles are easy though. Just change the barrels and pistons. Was probably a couple of hundred quid back then. Good for another 100,000 miles. A did see an advert for it a while after I sold it stating it’d done 60k. The first owner put it round the clock once then I put it round again so it was actually 260,000.
Lovely car the first owners son worked for Tickford and they repainted it.

Long day in the saddle yesterday. Troyes - Routes Nationales to Arbois for lunch then over the Simplon pass and down to Lake Maggiore. Looking forward to jumping in.

We're thinking of having a little play on the Simplon Pass (weather permitting and along with the Gottard, Grimsel and Furka) when returning from the forum's little run out - what's it like please?
