Having had a 05 987.1 Boxster 3.2 S for 2.5 years and not sorry to say 5 speed Tiptronic and absolutely Love it at my stage of life and for what we use it for which is local jaunts and long distance road trips.
Build quality is excellent and not wishing to cause offence but the interior which is full leather is far superior to any Maserati no pleather in mine.
Never wanted a Porsche and then having bought this one I have had to ask myself several times why I didn't do it sooner.
As with anything a good inspection and check of the history.
I rate mine as one of the Best cars I have ever had and like most of us here I have had a few cars.
