Potential Levante Owner

Hi,

I am new to this forum and found it after being advised by somebody on Pistonheads' Maserati thread to come on here.

I am seriously contemplating a Levante in the next few weeks/months to replace our family SUV and am hoping to garner the thoughts of those that actually own one, or have owned one in the past.

For those that actually own, have owned or even driven the Levante, how have you found the ownership experience? Have there been any common reliability issues I should be aware of? Are there any must haves with regard to extra specifications? What is the UK Maserati network like in terms of support if a car under warranty has a problem? How have you found the drive on the UK roads?

Any advice, be it positive or negative, would be appreciated.

Many thanks, it would be first our Maserati.

Had a couple of Italian cars in the past: Alfa Brera; Cali 30; wife had an Abarth 595; and, daughter has a Mito. :)

Oh we're far worse than that. I can't even remember how many Alfas we've owned. Loved both my Masers. Seriously torn as to the net purchase. Enjoy!

Welcome PJM

We have had a few through the workshop for servicing and the oldest one had its 4 year major last week.
Other than servicing we have seen little issues. The ones we have seen are failed TPMS sensors and split intake pipes.

Apart from that nothing else really.

Seen some inner front tyre wear and the steering at low speed manoeuvre on full lock there is some scrabbling of the tyres.

All the ones we have seen are diesel.
