Nearly a month in and Im being uber careful when driving but starting to get slight scratches and chips on the front grill, what does everyone do to protect the paintwork ?

I had nose film applied when the car was new. From experience with my 4200 I learnt that a nose respray is great but a year later you are back where you started.

The only area which is difficult to protect is the sills as the factory film ahead of the rear wheel arches is wholly inadequate. Ditto for the QPV.

Mine also has the film but even that has a couple of chunks out of it - hate to think what the damage would have been like without the film.

If you leave a 3 second gap between the vehicle in front it reduces stone chips by 70%! :frusty5:

For what it's worth... lol

I looked in to the cost of quality film protection v a front end respray and there was not much in it! Id rather respray when needed :)

Agree with the unit prices but the film will last as long as a few resprays so it's cheaper overall.
