QP 2000 model wont start....please help

Hi Guys, Helping a fellow Maser owner here in Australia.

His 2000 model QP will turn over, sounds like its about to start, but just wont start......tried all the obvious, yes there is fuel supply, all fuses checked....

Is there a away of reading error codes on the QP.....?? I have the gear to do my 2000 model 3200GT...can i use the same???

As far as I know it will be 3 pin Pre-OBD so yes the 3200 method should work.

Agreed, they changed in 2001 from what I understand

Does it have an immobiliser on it? When my QP turns over but won't start it is nearly always the immobiliser has not disengaged properly.

Could be throttle body, crank sensor, cam sensor or knock sensors.

Thanks Guys for the Response, I have left my mate's shed after trying to down load fault codes with no result, I could'nt get it to connect.
I Advised him to clean all the sensors. I had had similar issues with a ghibli I previously owned ....(thanks Phil - similar thinking!)
