Sounds like the Harry’s garage one to me.

I think the price is great!! (says the man also with a Nero carbonio GT S with a ‘power sunroof’..)

You could have a point as that had around that miles on her I believe.

The HG video was R002 UGE - this one appears to be FT13 SUY. Entirely possible the plate may have changed...

2 surprises. The price - wow.....and that Dick Lovett are selling it...

Dick Lovett will still sell the best examples as part of their specialist range. If they are selling it must be the best of the best I would imagine. They know the pit falls of selling these so in theary it should be sorted.

Plus the fact (or maybe not a fact) that according to carcolours.co.uk there was only 1 black GT S registered in 2013...
It's not the most accurate site if you dig down deeper for older Masers. It mentions a few Ghiblis registered in the 80s, so I'm presuming they must be imported Ghibli Is.
Looking at Shamals, according to the site there were nine sold, either in red or black, whereas we know of a certain blue one, and the purple one. It really depends how the data is formed...

Admittedly with newer cars (like the QP in question) they're easier to track but still.

You’re right, these sites aren’t the oracle, more of an interesting guide for slightly sad car geeks!

Lovely car, though not at that price. The Zegna VI that Matt sold may have had more miles on it but was arguably more desirable and a later model - for a lot less money. It would need a serious collector to chase DL's V at that price.

As much as I like QP's, I think I'd rather have this for similar money:

The VI just doesn’t look as good. Newer it may be, and faster, but they just don’t have the elegance or presence. Or naturally aspirated V8, and the joys that brings. The new Trofeo has some subtle detail upgrades that improve matters, but it’s getting on for £140k with some options.

I’d get this and pocket the £100k. And at 23k miles it’ll be in superb nick...

I think that’s how it tends to happen. The enthusiasts decide amongst themselves which are the best models, then one day that knowledge seeps out, a dealer flies a kite, a “collector” bites and away it goes. The rest of the market follows.

By that time, the enthusiasts are starting to enthuse about something else, as they’ve heard enough enthusing.

£48k brings a lot of choice in Maseratis, and I really can't see anyone who knows the breed paying that for a V. If, as Hurricane suggests, DL's kite catches the wind then good luck to them, but asking ain't necessarily getting. I'd love to be proved wrong though ;)

Huh? a 4.7 QPV registered in June 2013? But built in 2012, then? Or will it turn out to be a Granturismo or a 3.8 QPVI?
