QP Centre Console - where are the screws/bolts?

At some point someone has reassembled the centre console incorrectly. The 'sliding plate' 25 around the handbrake is upside down so when the handbrake is off there is a gap at the top. The chromed plastic button on the end of the handbrake has peeled and needs some attention.

Can anyone tell me what to do once I have taken out the screw at the bottom of the drink holder?

Does the leather grip of the handbrake just slide off with a little brute force?

There is a little grub screw with a torx head that is accessed through the leather near the base of the lever. There is a gap in the stitching.
I am not sure how easy it will be to change the chrome Nob though.
To get the handbrake cover off, there is a screw inside the cigarette tray - remove the liner.
By the way, the slider section is brittle and like mine has probably snapped

Awesome - that'll save some head scratching.
