QP IV - Oil Service

Ok time to get dirty and start work on the 3.2 QP IV.

First task an oil change, can anyone advise what oil I should use (my Alfas generally run Mobil 1) and where I can source an oil filter.

Any info appreciated.

Hey Zagatoes,

after a stint with Mobil 1 10W 60, I am now doing Selenia E from Maserati themselves at about £7 a tin (plastic tin)

and I got the filter from them as well at about £15.

Do you want part No.s ??

i use castrol edge 10w60 in my 3200, from euro car parts its about £52 for 8L (2x4L) when they got there 25/30% off deal on

here you go- although this doesn't quote you the copper-ring you are supposed to replace under the sump plug...

Thanks guys, I might continue to use Mobil 1 10w/60, stick with what I know - I change oil regularly so it won't be in there long. Rummaged through the bits and pieces I got with it and you and behold a genuine filter and copper ring. Worryingly also a pair of wheel bearings I best go and listen if there is a rumble in that area.
