Silver for me personally but here's two for you to compare, congratulations on the car, best model chosen :)

Anthracite which in my opinion looks a bit gangsta! http://www.richardgracecars.co.uk/listing/maserati-quattroporte-sport-gt-2/

Silver, classier and less in yer face: http://www.richardgracecars.co.uk/listing/maserati-quattroporte-sport-gt-4/

Each to their own as always, do get Sport GT centre caps though as they have red tridents for the finishing touch.

Totally agree on that one. Looks a bit 'aftermarket' with dark wheels. OK though if just toned down a bit like the 4.2 GTS

I thought so too, hence I've only ever looked at tan leather ( cuio?). This one still looks nice, after 64k :)

The leather is painted, so the actual colour is irrelevant. Whenever it gets too grubby, you just have it repainted. Though admittedly, darker colours don't show the dirt as quickly as lighter shades, so will last longer before requiring repainting. If this car has particularly good looking cream leather after 64,000 miles, its because (at the very least) the high wear parts (such as side bolsters) have been repainted. It's a quick and easy job - takes about half an hour and costs about £50 to do the side bolsters on a pair of front seats, and brings them up like new.

Well done Rob that looks fantastic, I am very tempted myself by thew QPV especially at some of the prices we have seen recently. I like the look of yours more because it has the facelift front grille and not the old ugly slatted one!

Well it went like this;
Always loved the QP V so look out for a bargain model. Was alerted by you guys to the green one in Portsmouth. Tempted to view while I was in the area, but it sold really fast. To a dealer! The seller would happily have sold to one of us from forum for the same bargain price.
Started looking again, this one was the next spec that suited me. Was going to view car 5 miles from home but dealer was too cagey. Maybe he doesn't own that Sport GT.
As I was in cambridge, I popped down the M11 to Canfield garage and fell in love.

Easy really.

they are a nice bunch. Had a good feeling all along. Confirmed after we shook hands on the deal and we had to rush the tidying jobs. They are shutting up shop next Friday to go to the NEC classic car show. I am there too, and must have the car ready to take.
Dont hesitate to get in touch.
