Nice but high mileage. Which wouldn't normally worry me but service if I remember should be every 12,500 miles so should have at least 6 plus stamps. Or am I wrong? So if insufficient attention to service maybe other stuff missed? But still alot of car for not much cash.

It’s not that much of a bargain, you can get a petrol one with less than 30k miles for 19k or so at the auctions. That car would be 14 at auction.

It also has HiFly tyres on it which should tell you everything you need to know.

My experience of auctions is somewhat different , the hammer price might be 14k but unless you have a trade account the fees would take it to the price he's asking

V6 Diesel 87K is nothing my 10 year old Jaguar XF 3.0 D has done 160K miles and I'm going to run it for ever more as it purrs.
See it's now sold anyone on here.

I might have a punt on this instead of leasing another Evoque. 9+36 and 8k miles pa, total £13.500 and give it back with nothing.

2018 GrandLusso 13k miles, do you recon I’ll get it for £20k?

It is auction, it is January and we are in lockdown???

I would have thought auction prices will be deflated at this point in time might be an opportunity for a quick steal

Auction prices are high as prices have gone up in 2020. I’d say it’ll be about £36k inc £1k of fees, needs about £200 of spend. You can probably buy one retail for similar money. I’d suggest you would get >£20k for it in 3 years time. I have only ever bought one car in an auction; don’t like the fact that you can’t view it prior to bidding, and if you’re not happy on collection then it’s hard luck.

Thats why you won't find me leasing... you are just paying to drive someone else car and you get penalised if you don't give it back in the same condition.

Strange I would have thought auction prices would be tight in 2020, limited people in the market but obviously in the trade you will have much more visibility, saying that we had our busiest 24 days before Christmas with sales up 18% on last year and that is with the stores having to limit customers coming in and being closed for 4 days - the world is truly bonkers

I’ve been watching QP6’s for a while now and they are dropping below 20k.
You should be able to get a decent spec diesel for sub 20k with 40k miles.

My only issue is that for a car that big and heavy it only has 275bhp.
It needs 300+ at the very least.

How easy are these to map?

54k on the petrol QP, that engine is far better (in my opinion) and still does 28mpg or so against the diesel at 35-38mpg.

43k on the Levante.

They are all going for top money just now plus fees to expect to pay the clean price plus a grand or so.

Never mind a levante or an evoque, I have a 30k mile 2016 Honda jazz auto you can have for 7k (retail about 9250) because it already has a few marks on it!
Drives great, if slow, comfy, doubles as a van and will still be worth 5k in 3 years and another 24k miles. And it won’t break down.

That’s only 2k in 3 years instead of 13.5k.

You could put the extra 11.5k into the Maserati fund.
