Whilst fixing my bonnet catch woes, I noticed a pipe wasn't connected to the air intake assembly... suffice to say I plugged it back in, I guess it's some sort of breather pipe? I can't say I noticed any difference in the car running without it being connected...

breather, they're often loose, just replace the factory hose clamp with a good quality screw type.
Don't drive with it disconnected as that's now letting unmetered air bypassing your MAF sensor (lean mixture)

It's premaf so wouldn't effect running. Just will end up being smelly from the breather and poss evap fault as no suctjon.

Its after the MAF. The silver part is the throttle body. The MAF is the bit with the wires in front of the bellows that fits in the air filter housing.

The pipe detached is before the maf. On the left side. Air cleaner side of the Maf.......
