QPVI GTS

I know that many on here aren’t particularly interested in the modern models but as much as I enjoyed the petrol Ghibli a combination of lanky teenage kids and a need for a bit of Maranello V8 has resulted in a swap for a 2015 GTS. I’ll add some photos as is obligatory but it’s ****!ng down again so maybe tomorrow. It is a beast though.
Make sure you add your new maser here:

https://www.sportsmaserati.com/inde...se-add-your-maserati.3130/page-87#post-868507

you’ll have the honour of being the first QP VI on the list…you can add the heading just before the Ghibli 3

As a QP5 owner, I think the QP6 interior is a step above. It’s the exterior which doesn’t cut the mustard.

Respectfully disagree. I had a QPV in 2006. As lovely as it was, and spec is important, I would not go for one if buying now. Each to their own but if you’re spending £35-40k now and want a QP then the VI GTS is where it’s at. IMHO.

How was it? I discounted it for a few reasons. Black with black not my spec. The wheels looked like they needed refurbishing, do they?

So much car for the money - I’ve found myself quite drawn to the adverts recently!

Just seen a full road test in autocar of the latest QP VI trofeo. They don’t like it at all, 2 out of 5 they give it…..

Maybe because it’s £130k and they don’t like the infotainment.

130k is a lot of money…Hang on a year or two and sure they will be 60k. There was a Ghibli version with 1k on the clock last week at 83k 2021 car and at a Maserati dealer. That’s a 20k saving without options I think. I don’t think even rarity will keep used prices up.

Surely a Maserati is supposed to be a drivers car... if you want to Google and stream, take a laptop and the train!

This... but thats if they sell any QP6 Trofeos... £125k + options, when I had a play around with spec'ing one up it was over £140k.

The Ghibli Trofeo seems to get better praise from the press.

Still can’t get past the price of over 100k for a Ghibli though.

Yes they do. But the big German options end at even lower figures than their Maser equivalents, as the Maserati badge and rarity still counts for something.
Even so, UK sales numbers for the QP6 Trofeo will be pitiful. I’ll have a wild guess at 20.

QP6 GTS is such a great car. Large luxury and then you flick the switch into a sports beast! If parking spaces were larger, I'd genuinely be after one.
It was funny when I test drove one and the dealer parked it up by my Spyder for comedy value... the QP wheelbase was the length of my entire car.

I just thought I’d look at 7 series as a comparison and you can’t get anything other than 6 cylinder here anymore.

It was interesting last Friday to hear that the giblets will be dropped and the QP7 will be slightly smaller. I wonder if they'll offer a lwb version to have similar size to the 6?
