Mark, have you seen this light grey in the flesh. I agree that grey leather not a nice colour at all but I do find that the Maserati light grey on this car is one of nicest grey leather I have seen. Light enough to not look old man Mercedes grey.

Cheap motoring for 12 months. Who’d have though that of a Maserati. I’m not surprised it sold, any genuine buyer coming to see it was almost certain to buy it. How could you walk away?
Whats the replacement going to be? You’ll struggle to find a nicer car for 17k :)

Must admit it was immaculate and not a thing wrong.

Looking at Range Rovers now. One of them cars I’ve never had but always wanted.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. I was the same. Had a fullfat 2011 4.4tdv8 and it was 10x more needy than the QP. Kept it for 11 months including lockdown. Great cruiser and powerful, but you have to be prepared to drive like an old far t around corners and roundabouts. So did not suit my driving style.

They would be a great cruiser but the diesel is way too needy with the dpf. It was that and my driving style that made me sell. I did 1k miles in it over a week and it was spot on. Very much a long distance cruiser than a daily short drives unless it is petrol

I did 70k miles in my 4.4 TDV8 in nearly 3 years with nothing going wrong. Have heard the contrary so guess it depends on your luck/the day it was built. Aren't dpf issues related to pottering around in town/lack of use?

You need to be doing long distances in a diesel. The saving in fuel costs and miles are lost if you keep having to do dpf burns and oil changes.

That's what I thought. A friend bought his wife a 1.9tdi VAG box but she did frequent 4 or 5 mile journeys so it was only doing about 25mpg for that reason. He would borrow it and take it for a long run to see what was wrong and manage 50 mpg!
