The Cat D GTS is back once again. I can only assume there's something inherently wrong with this car (aside from the obvious) as it always seems to reappear for sale again shortly after selling...

Same pictures, so presumably same seller - maybe the original deal fell through.

OIG9684 - No reserve at ACA this weekend.

  • V5 Present
  • MoT Oct 2022
  • Chassis number: ZAMCD39C000015163
4,244cc. An extremely elegant car finished in Alfieri Grigio metallic grey with tan leather interior which is described as very comfortable. Fitted with the F430 Ferrari‑based engine, this car sounds absolutely wonderful and is great fun to drive, particularly with the F1 flaps. It also has a premium Bose sound system.

Purchased by the vendor from ACA in February 2021 for his wife, the car has benefited from expenditure since, including £1,400 at Kent High Performance Cars (The Ferrari Centre, Maidstone) in October 2021. In addition a new battery was fitted and the gear lever has been replaced.

The history file contains the original service book with nine stamps by supplying main dealer, H. R. Owen, from 2005 to 2013, plus three further stamps in 2015, 2018 and 2021. Some receipts, MoTs, handbooks and leather bound wallet complete the file. The tool‑kit remains in the boot. Warranted mileage of 76,100.

Sold in Feb 2021 for £9,180

Apart from the potential subframe the car looks pretty tired from the outside. Will take a fair bit of work just cosmetically let alone the wear of 122k miles on the clock. Bit of a project so can’t imagine it will get anywhere close to the original asking price on AutoTrader.

Nope. Some tyres and pads, ball joints back in the day. Mirror. Very low milage of late

At the minute at £4,000 I think it's cheap and a bit like Darren's Range Rover you could make it nice in France this QP would be €25,000.

I'm actually going to be in Kings Lynn this weekend.... is it a sign? Perhaps.

It might be madness as I certainly don't have deep pockets but I'm drawn to the style and presence of these and at sub £10k they seem unbeatable value.

What are the chances of it costing me the same again in the first couple of years of ownership though?

What am I missing that a 120k miles QPV would be worth £12k in the UK? Sad fact that it might be worth double that in France (though wouldn't RHD be a deal breaker @philw696 ?).
You forgot the owner has been gluing the seats and carpets with contact adhesive for 10 hours and has gone to cuckoo land.
Not that they shouldn't be that price. They just arent!
