How? Mine has 37k and no interest

Lots of interest. Could have sold it 10x over. Might be because mine was totally original. When I was looking I dismissed any not original but that might just be me.

Yep it could be. I would still have the front grille if it wasnt destroyed by a kamikazi pilot. I have the gts one because it was in stock and cheaper basically. You had rare colour on your side too.

I think the front grill would make it more desirable. The standard one was just an ugly design where as the GTS one just is so much more attractive. I certainly wouldn’t be put off by the lowering of the car as if it has been set up properly which it has I will enhance the experience but get why some wouldn’t want it. Yours also ha the benefit of low miles and owners. As said hang on in there as it can take time. Get those new pictures done the weekend and it may help a bit.

Hi – an aftermarket suspension kit really improves the GTA. I found that the standard suspension made the steering go light over mid-corner bumps – not what you want with a car with the weight distribution of a lump hammer. I went with the Eibach Prostreet-S coilover kit with upgraded ARBs from Autolusso. At the time I had the (silly) idea of going on track days with it; it's not really a car for that. I'm not going to lie, the low-speed ride is harsh, but the standard suspension wasn't much better. However, that mid-corner floatiness has completely gone and there's much greater feedback through the steering wheel now. It might still be too harsh (the Koni FSD cars I've tried have offered a good compromise), but the transformative effects on the handling are immeasurable. It's well worth upgrading to a non-standard setup, but it's not essential (like the Q2). The good thing about the Eibach kit is that it can be adjusted for ride height; not sure about the Koni ones. I've not tried the Ohlins.
You're welcome to try mine but I'm not happy with the tyres; I've Toyo T1-Rs (or whatever the latest is called) and it's squealing under cornering on those after less than 1500 miles and the turn-in is a bit mushy. I think I'm gonna have to hold my nose and take the Michelin route. It had Pirelli P-Zeroes on before, and they made it a bit Audi-like.

Thanks for the offer, I think I may be a bit far away to try yours, I’m up near Manchester.

It’s a quandary, I already have koni sport adjustable dampers and would like to keep standard height, but I may have to bite the bullet and change the lot. Cam belt due too (the 4th!), so I’m in for a chunky bill…
It’s the Italian way!

Good job they are increasing in value like the QP is…

I think the Bordeaux colour certainly helped with the extra interest. A beautiful and rare shade.

I agree that the GT S grille is nicer, and I'm planning to replace the convex chrome one on my S with the GT S one. Do you want to swap them over, @Gazcw? I should mention that my chrome one has one broken slat that needs to be glued.

I may have an interested party. Travelling from Kent next week. I will let you know on wheels if it goes. They are cheap Maserati branded ones only £25000

Good luck.
I would say for a buyer that really wants a QP, the only thing required is get them in front of it.
If it’s a good example, any car enthusiast will find it almost impossible to walk away from, once they see, hear and feel it up close.

My old QP had the GTS grille and GTS alloys fitted, but it was still a bugger to shift. Had to part ex it for a Mercedes after trying to sell it for 6 months (or rather Shiltech did!...). Not seen it pop up anywhere since a chap from Birmingham bought it from a garage early last year and then resold it on after just 8 weeks! Now on private plates so I haven't been able to trace it.

Love the green exteriors but don't understand why anyone would then specify grey or black leather.

Nice green one here with very low miles and owners.
Look at the steering wheel, the drivers seat pad, and the carpets in the drivers footwell. Then tell me you believe the claim of only 18k miles!!! 180k miles more like!
