Potentially looking to get back into a Maserati at some point. I used to drive a 3200 4 years ago. I had a bit of a rough time with my 3200 but still want to get back into one.
This time it will be a 4200 05 plate facelift.

Does anyone know or seen a 4200 in sprint blue?

A big warm welcome to the forum S111DRP.......As far as I know there isn't any 4200's in sprint blue....There was a very lovely 3200 in this colour or I think its called French blue with cream leather...It's not a colour that was on the colour list for a 4200...

Hi Andy,

Thanks for the heads up. I remember looking at the 3200 sprint blue for sale about 5 years ago.. Looked beautiful. I was hoping to find a 4200 in that colour.. Gutted.

I guess my next colour of choice would be red, but again they seem to be few or far up for sale! I guess I will have to wait until they come up. Cheers sandro.

Will do. I have a few questions about the 4200 so will fire a few questions out... Might you know any 4200 facelift model, or pre will do,
owners in Berkshire that would walk me round their car... Or is it best to go to one of the meets. Ace cafe is one that was popular with my tvr crew...

Still gutted about no sprint blues.... I would not want respray one and ruin the car... Shame the sprint blue and red are few and far

I liked the Sprint/French blue 3200.....They did a Ghibli in the same coloue as well...Shame they didn't offer the colour on the 4200 as well....But I would like the colour as my M3 is Laguna Seca blue which is like Sprint blue

Thanks gents. That car on the maserati-alfieri is the actual Maserati picture of the car that was for sale many years ago... Lord only knows why they did not continue that colour! Saying that why they lost boomerang lights and vented bonnet still confuses the **** out of me.. Maybe they asked the same people if they should keep the sprint blu colour for the 4200... Americans(no offense) but, Awful judgement... Do we know why they have not revised the boomerang lights for any new maserati cars??!!

The sprint/French blue Ghibli Cup is currently for sale. One of only 20 RHD cars, and unique in this colour. (Probably a bit much as an "everyday" car, but if you just want a Maser as a weekend toy, this would be a better financial bet than a late 4200. The Cup is appreciating at the moment, while the late 4200's are still depreciating. And it"ll still give you that turbo urge that you'll remember from your 3200 days.)

Thanks ewan. The Maserati will be a daily drive, so would require something a little newer, though saying that there will be no gaurantee if it will be more reliable.
