Random ask: Mirrors

Since people seem to be able to get just about anything on this forum, left field question of the day: I need some mirrors. Rectangular. 2m high and varying widths to 2.1m Safety backed.

Quite large. Also quite spendy. Although not quite as bad I as was expecting, enough to make me go 'hmmmmm'

Anyone know a cheap supplier?

Cheers

Too far away from you C, but when I refurbished my Surrey flats bathroom I used a glazing co in Cheam Village.

48 hour turn around, polished edges and foil back for damp environment. They even supplied the tile cussions and adhesive.

Pretty sure your local branch could so the same.

Yeah, cheers. No trouble finding them, was just trying to find them a bit cheaper than the £740....

You may have already done this, but would be worth looking into what are the standard sizes that glass manufacturers make and seeing if you can fill the wall with more standard size panes, rather than each one being a custom order...

I wanted to cover one wall in my gym at home with mirrors, and the perfect dimensions would have meant I needed to have them built bespoke, but in the end I just bought three of the largest standard sizes...

Putting them was shaping up to be a pain in the **** until I realised the power of (lots and lots and lots) of really good double sided mirror tape.

Yes, and sadly not going to fit. Although the cost is not that much different. I don't think I'll risk tape. J channel and (possibly) glue I think. More worried about lifting them

See if they can laser etch your safe word in each panel. Be a shame to get injured in your own s3x cave.

Was becoming worried that during lockdown Chris had developed a Narcissus complex and needed full size mirrors so he could appreciate himself completely - then you mentioned gym and I realised you had just gone mad instead ;)
