Sold some to pay for the BB, with an additional loan.

456 was stored at his parents previously

I bet the scummer that stole the Ferrari bits whilst being held is absolutely sh*ting themselves now he very likely knows the guy has a massive audience that will scour eBay etc..

Captain calamity. He’s just bought a cat reg lotus Elise and it’s absolutely knackered. Can’t wait to see how he gets on with the heads on the 308

Back to concourse is an unrealistic cost option IMO, and given his view on 'bargain' repairs I'm not sure he would go down that route...so I reckon £35k with a lot of DIY.

whats the deal on the engine, has it been checked, repairs/parts/rebuild alone on lump/gearbox will be 2 arms and a leg i would of thought

just watched the clean up vid and "seems" to have done a good job, but why the feck was he using a high pressure lance that close, just bonkers, , that really surprised me and surely forced a load water in to unwanted areas and possibly damaged the original paintwork in some areas, that was simply just years of algae that warm soapy shampoo and sponge would have dealt with

Did you see the bit where he jet washed the engine?

yup, bloomin clueless, why bother as the engine needs to come out anyway, stripped and rebuilt properly hopefully, seems like a nice bloke with good intentions though even if it's cringe worthy viewing

I give him credit for at least trying, although I can't help but wonder what the price might have been had the seller bothered to clean it first.

Can't watch the guy.
I'm sure he's a nice young man and good on him for having a go but just not my cup of tea.

A lot of the older stuff is so straight forward to work on. He does sometimes do something questionable, but it's no worse than what has probably been done to countless other cars, but not under the critical eye of (anti,) social media, I was interested in his 348 series, as mine was similar.
