So, last night I was talking to a good friend of mine, talking about the old days he mentioned he used to work in a local scrap yard around 10 miles from where I grew up, and in said scrap yard was an old DB5 under a tarpaulin, turns out he's in regular contact with his ex employer, the DB5 was just a shell back then but the owner has been stockpiling parts to rebuild it, he's going to take me for a visit..can't wait for that..

that sounds like an interesting rebuild, more of a "bitsa" car though, hopefully he's got ID tags and a V5c with the shell, otherwise he's a bit buggered;)

So my friend took me to visit this guy yesterday, I was blown away with what he had stashed, all original and complete bar the DB5, covered over in various units around his house , all displaying the patina you would expect ,
E type Jag
Early 90's Aston Virage
Aston V8 Vantage
DBS 6 x 2
DBS 6 Convertible?
DB 5
Jenson Interceptor

Outside there was another V8 Vantage that was stashed on top of a 60's Alfa Guilletta? that was fubar, and round the corner another DBS with it's door open complete with no floor. I need to lie down....

I did think about asking to take some photos but first time I've been so I didn't want to appear rude , absolute gentleman that collected these from the 70's onward, not because of value but just because he likes them.
