Well, not sure I'd like car in reverse with only weak hand brake and someone with their ear on bumper!

Just notice u said no engine ignition only - my bad - assumed u'd need engine on. At last, a task! Tmrw;s job I think...

But can u select R with no engine on?

With just ignition on I think you'll still need to touch the brake pedal to release the interlock mechanism on the gear lever - you definitely don't need to start it

I got four, free to good home, you need just one? They are the smaller ones, that fit the GT's etc not the QP.....
