Rear passenger arm rest removal

Hi All,

Back again!

Anyone any ideas or tips on how to the rear passenger arm rest? I have a 4200.

Hope you can help.

I’m pretty sure it’s the same as a 3200, in which case you need to remove the seat base first which requires a sharp pull up at the front (see holes in red) then you need to unbolt the bottom edge of the backrest (green) and two behind the Velcro bit inside the armrest I think. Then it’ll drop down and lift out (clips in yellow)

Arm rest is attached to the backrest from behind.

Hi,
Cheers for the info. Makes perfect sense and seems abit on the easy side. Which is not the norm from when I have been working on her previously.

Can I ask why you ended up taking your seats out?

I had a leak.

You say seems easy but the clips that hold the base in are bloody strong you need to push the base back whilst jerking it upwards with about as much force as you can muster and you need to be holding it right where the clip is. Do one side then the other.

Hello. This may not apply, I have a 2006 Gransport USA model. The rear seat armrest can be removed by retracting a pin in the armrest and tilting it out. To reinstall guide the pins into the channels in the black plastic retaining pieces and push into place.

Hello. This may not apply, I have a 2006 Gransport USA model. The rear seat armrest can be removed by retracting a pin in the armrest and tilting it out. To reinstall guide the pins into the channels in the black plastic retaining pieces and push into place.
My 4200 is the same.
