Removing wooden panel Ghibli

Hi, I need to remove the short wooden panels from the dashboard of the Ghibli - how are these fitted as when I look with a small flex tube camera I dont see any bolt behind. When I look at the Eurospares diagrams I see 2 points where it might be fixed but not so sure about it and dont wont to just put a screwdriver behind the panel and break it. Any clue? See picture red highlighted. Thx

If nobody steps forward with the right answer. You could always try slipping some fishing line behind the wood and working it behind it you will be able to feel if it hits a bolt or push pin fitting.

Once you have found one fixing work the line in from the other side and see if there is a second fixing. It shouldnt cause any damage to the wood.

If they are push in pin fitting and the line is strong enough you may be able to pull the panels forward enough to get a flat blade behind them.

Not the best pics but I reckon they’re bolted to the dash. I find eBay and the like really useful for photos of parts details.

Thx for input and yep it looks like 2 bolts fix but probably hold via the ventilator rooster but impossible to get by underneath. Removing whole dashboard is less pleasant to do and risk that more will be damaged when removing. I will now try to remove the dash instruments and maybe via this gap there is more to see and option to remove - lets see

All the wood panels are screwed in place. I removed them all on my QP Evo for refurbishing and it took a while :) End result is well worth the effort though.

Not sure on the Ghibli but I suspect you would have to remove the instrument cluster to access the pictured panel.
