Did mine without removing but its so so much easier if you can remove the steering wheel as the screw heads get rounded your stuck

I have watched Conaero fit the paddles in 15 mins with the steering wheel still on - but it is fiddly and you can easily lose the bolts if you are not very careful. It requires rounded-head allen keys.

It’s a 10-15 min job which doesn’t require removal but is easier with the wheel off.

Seeing as I have just received my paddles from @stindig and my lovely new steering wheel, I thought I would try this to see how tricky it was. In the end I wasn't happy trying to put the top screw back into the paddle as even using a ball head allen key it kept trying to go in crossed. So as I was removing the steering wheel I did that instead. How to coming up.

Edit: To show how tricky it is, you can barely see the screw - getting it in straight is next to impossible.

and, the Stindig paddles are superb don’t you think Zep? I was sceptical, until I realised they were not just flat Alu paddles, but contoured like the nasty plastic OEM. Such a great upgrade

I do like them, not actually driven with them yet, they seem a bit closer to the wheel too which I like.

I have to agree, the difference between the OEM metal paddles and the Carbon fibre - well it's like cotton and silk.

Well thank you all so much! I actually ended up having the steering wheel removed. Then having the steering wheel wrapped in alcantara whilst at it. Thanks all the same!
