The listing indicates so:
"The car also incorporated a unique carbon fibre roof tonneau cover with attractive blue strands embedded into the weave, with a built in wind deflector and carbon-fibre rear roll-hoop fairings."

Dependant on car colour perhaps? This Grigio looks decidedly black:

That said, it looks black on this too:

Whereas, the roll bar on the same car:

Was the weave colour(s) an option?

They all look black to me.....but then my eyesight isn't what it used to be...

Lot of conversations on VAT on car purchases especially used, in theory VAT has already been paid within the EU and therefore it shouldn't be payable again. Used cars from Japan and US are subject to VAT here but that is because there was no original EU Vat payment. Its all a bit of a mess at the moment and there is a lack of clarity time will tell. VRT on cars under 30 years old has always been a blocker here, so much for harmonised trade across the EU
Yes a right cluster F to put it mildly... ROI has been a big market for UK dealers for 2-6 year old cars... not to mention the exotics... a lot of people going to be hurting financially...as a result both sides of the pond.

There will have to be an industry challenge to VAT on second hand cars from the UK as the VAT was already paid at point of purchase when UK was in EU...so double taxation!!

Otherwise there will have to be a mechanism to recoup VAT on export from UK for individuals and business ... will be interesting to see how it plays out...

Try buying a Ferrari...... a decent 360 in the UK is in the £65-75K range.... if you wanted to import one today into southern Ireland add between £28K to £35K STG just to get a reg plate...(depending on which person you get in customs & revenue/ the day of the week/ where the sun is in the sky etc. etc. etc...) ... madness!

And now with Brexit add another 21% VAT on top....
I won't say what I sold my 2004 Modena F1 for back in 2014 but I offered it to the forum for £36K after spending nearly £6K on a service and got no takers.

I note that your car comes with a spare roof fabric. Is that a generous factory addition, or was one of the previous owners the cautious sort?

Interesting that it was fitted with black rather than blue fabric roof.... My anniversario Blu Spyder also has black fabric, but having seen the blue on blue example for sale on carandclassic...I wish it were otherwise.

I bought it from Maserati as a spare... rare enough with original Maserati glass etc.

Current roof is Blue not Black...

Did you decide against recolouring?
I had (without diligently verifying it would seem) just presumed the cost of a frame off removal, recolour and refit would be fairly expensive to achieve this goal, for what might simply be personal choice, which the next owner may wish had not been done.

Been after one for 10 years, but their price has got further and further away from my budget no matter how much I save.
Surprised.... I'd have thought prices on 99% of masers have been deflating in recent years.

Gransports certainly seem to be depreciating.
Gransports Spyders too it would seem.
4200 coupes and spyders also seem to have gone nowhere in price.

Presumably the 90th anniversary must fall into that small niche that also includes the MCV.
