Such sad news, and condolences to all of his family and friends and everyone that knew him. Was a nice mark of respect yesterday to have a day of inactivity on the forum as a mark of respect.

I have found these two photos from the Viva Espana trip, our arrival at Logrono with the unpopular single car lift to the underground carpark; it only took 2 hours to park everyone!

And this one from the MOB at Hotel La Lauzetane, I had popped up to the room to change for dinner shortly before Jeanette slipped under the bubbles in the Spa! Roger and Diane chatting to Blondie...

Never met Roger but my sincere condolences to his family. Life does not seem fair when good guys go to early.

Julia and I too had the pleasure of meeting him and Diane on the MoB trip. I first spotted his car before that at a Bicester Heritage event and was so pleased to then see it turn up on the trip. His car was the first puncture casualty as we left Hotel La Lauzetane (above) so they missed the Monaco leg of the trip whilst waiting for tyres to arrive. iirc they then picked us up again at Lake Como (or was it Portofino?). I know he was leading the charge up the Gotthard Pass through Switzerland with myself, Eb & Rick in pursuit on our return leg.
This is one of the few photos I have, taken at one of the first mass fuel stops leaving Lyon heading for the mountains.
So very sad, our thoughts and prayers with his family at this time.

Sad news to hear and best wishes to Diane, Ellie and Jess. Tough time to lose a partner and father at the moment. At 57 it is still very young and a message to us all to enjoy our time and Maserati's while we are here.

Rest in peace Roger
