Seat Controller Trim Bit?

Morning all,

So somehow I seem to have broken off the trim part/fixings for the seat controller on my GS (see attached pic). I have looked everywhere online to try and get some replacements as they don't press and hold in anymore but can't see to find any anywhere? Does anyone know a supplier or have some floating about before I revert to bodging?

Thanks

Olly

This looks familiar. I bought a driver's side controller with all the buttons from SupranoStu to fit when I re-dyed the leather.
I may have some spare from my original controller. I'll look in my parts stash tomorrow.

Thanks for the info and the offer - really helpful, thanks. £7 though?! For a bit of plastic??! How do Maserati sleep at night....

If you don’t replace them, the unit will hang off, get kicked and break. That will be another £75 for the carcus ....no clips.

TIP: remove the 4 seat securing bolts and flip seat backwards to get to the two cross head screws on the bottom. It’s quicker in the long run than fannying about trying to do it in situ.

Indeed - annoying as it at the moment! Thanks for the tip - was pondering how I was going to get to them.

Someone recently managed to get at the underside screws by raising the seat and tilting back - without removing the bolts.
Maybe worth trying first. Which pin has gone by the way? The cover fixing point at the front of the seat oppose the other two.
If you're lucky, once the screws are out, you may be able to slide the cover off the remaining pins. Otherwise they'll need quite a tug.

It can be done, I’ve done it a few times. They come out easy if you have a tight access tool but putting them back in is tricky as you are working blind. The seat bolts come out in 1-2 mins and the job is simple and not frustrating. Believe me it’s much quicker.
