Skyhook Active Suspension Question

Guys,

In my quest to buy a GS I have come across a couple of points which raise a couple of questions with me and wondered if you can clarify it for me please?

When I see a GS advertised for sale saying its got maserati MSP does it include all of the following :-

Skyhook active suspension system, Maserati stability programme (MSP), Anti-lock brakes (ABS), Electronic brake force distribution (EBD), Anti-slip regulation (ASR), Motor Spin Regulator (MSR), 6-disc

Or are they all separate options added on?

Also I have seen a number of cars advertised as "Maserati Grandsport LE" or just "Maserati Grandsport" are these the same car as often the extras fitted appear to be much the same so its unclear to me if I am really looking at one car which has more standard features or not or what the LE items really are?

I know this is bound to be a basic question to you all but I would appreciate it if you can clarify it for me, as you can see I still have a lot to learn about Maserati. But the more I do the more I love it...
:love4:

Thanks,
Alan

Welcome to the forum Alan. Quick answers:

1. Skyhook was a separate option. The rest are standard eletronics.

2. The GranSport LE is a Limited Edition version, which hadsome options thrown in compared to the standard GranSport (like full leather, better sound system, etc.... if memory seves me well).

Beware that cars in differentmarkets (US vs Europe vs Australia etc) tend to have slightly different specs.

PS: It's GranSport. Drop the "d" ;)

Alan, as Bigfoot says. The LE is more sort after so my advise would be to fork out the extra and go for that. Then when you go to sell, you will find it easier.

The extras as far as I know are:
Full leather
Leather headliner
Auditorium HiFi
Boot spoiler???and a few more I think

It was said that the LE comes with £7k of extras over the standard car.
