Snow foam

After the mrs busting my balls for several weeks to clean her motor i decided on some autoglym snow blast as it seems to be top of lists, never used any type of snow foam before , it did a fairly good job on loosening the dirt, car was damp/wet so didn't fully cling on for the full 10 minutes, car did need a final good hand shampoo though to get it looking actually clean

I use Autoglym Polar Blast which seems to work better than the stuff I had before (can't remember what that was). The car always needs to be handwashed as well to get it clean. My son was very disappointed when he realised he still needed to undertake some graft when washing his car with it!

Had snow foam and Lance for years. Don’t use it all the time but if there’s dirt dried on it definitely loosens it up so is a handy tool to have in the arsenal

Mate swears by bilt hamber which I will try next time. Snow only removes the looser dirt I find.
First time I used it, I was bitterly disappointed as I was dragging out me 2 buckets and shampoo.

Another vote for Bilt Hamber. Rather than mucking about with a proper lance, I just use a garden sprayer, which works every bit as well (according to a review I read). Something like 4% dilution. Works a treat.

I use the same stuff if the car gets filthy (winter driving) I find the better the car is waxed the better the result.

AG Polar Blast Snow foam is in the Halfords 3 for 2 at the moment, you can get 7.5 litres for about 23 quid.

The Bilt Hamber is about that for 5 litres but seems to get most recommendations, I keep meaning to buy it, but never get around to it.

Me too, bought a snow foam lance last month, only used it on the van which isn't waxed, had to go over it by hand, very disappointed, hopefully will be better on waxed cars, and as have just bought a DA polisher might even do the van this year.
