Spoiled my GC?

Slavishly devoting myself to originality for some of my cars so I can spend thousands of wasted hours cleaning for Concours events (I won my class at the AMOC 2020 "Virtual" Concours yesterday) , I wanted to have a bit more scope for personalisation with my (relatively) low value GC, but don't want to look like a c..k by doing so.

In addition to the invisible (from an external point of view) and reversible mods of X pipe and carbon fibre intake resonance chambers (purely cosmetic), I've fitted a carbon fibre boot spoiler to the GC. Cool or C..k? I'm sure like the chambers, I'll get a mixed response on here at best. I can already hear Dickie cry "not for me!"

In the 2nd picture, I know the bottom edge of the spoiler looks a bit "wobbly" against the boot lid, but its just a reflection of the chrome in the photo and I promise it fits perfectly straight ...................still doesn't make it classy though!

The carbon boot spoiler is a good addition to my eyes and offered as a part of the external carbon aero pack from the factory (together with mirror caps & door handles) so I think it looks good personally

Nothing wrong with this at all!

In fact I have a factory MC spoiler and it actually finishes the lines of the GT and GC.

To me I think these cars look like there is something missing without the spoiler, carbon or not.

CF boot spoiler is not for me but you don't need my validation

I love the "because I can" reply :)

I think the GC needs this. I had it my GC-MC and it looked great on that also. Nice addition.

Thanks for all your replies, and as they are positive in the main and it’s too small to eat my lunch off of it, then I think it can stay.

I only put it on with blue tack for the photos to get some feedback, so now it will go on with the proper 3M tape

Im still going back and forth adding the spoiler. I have the oem carbon one. On one side i don't get all the carbon hype, the other side is i like how the car looks with the spoiler. Then there is the issue that the spoiler looks like a cheap afterthought you just stick on.

Guess i'll have to install it and see how I like it.
