so complete guess:
headers 2K to 3k fitted
primary decat/sports cat 2k fitted
remap £1.2K

6k.....thats a lot of money! But I guess it depends on what kind of power that returns

edit: I was talking about Strad - realised you are talking about an Aston!
Multiply a bit to factor in the 4 extra cylinders and it's about right.

Sounds like your money would be better spent on driving lessons rather than performance upgrades..... :rofl5:
Oh, ******** to that! If one's going to drive with a flourish of crass ineptitude, do it with as much speed as possible, is my view.

I concur, it is quicker but not on light or intermediate throttle inputs, its only when you mash it you get OMG...well, there is certainly more drama and hanging on to the wheel.

Im going to do a dyno too so we can take the average as my wheel bearings have now turned up.

Trying to pick up on this thread. For ease... In a nutshell WHO is developing the ECU remap (or has developed it?) and people are now waiting on results of the dyno run.. Trying to catch up on this. And the test car is running Sports Cats? Is it mischaRS who has this development software? thanks. IM also guessing anyone considering this is not having to think about OEM warranty?

Are you sure? I thought they were the reseller of it. I don’t think they are developing it….testing and rolling road verification maybe but not doing the actual mapping.
Matt has said before on here that it's a collaboration with AV. I'm pretty sure that a chap who had worked extensively on a 360 remap has his incredible experience and talented fingerprints all over it. 360Trev or Trev360, iirc, for those who frequent the darker corners of the 360 webiverse.

I'll await correction in case I'm wrong. :)

Well I kept it short and where to get it from to be fair ie. In a nutshell.

Hi all. As a Strad owner, and others, far quicker in my stable, I am determined to try and extract more instant acceleration out of this lovely charismatic car. To my mind, the GT's are cheap as chips, but with a few K spent of upgrading the performance, then they would become much more purchasable. To this end, I am entrusting Matt, and AS Motorsports to see if we can achieve well over the 500 bhp mark including much more low down torque, and even if it takes a few months, it will be well worth it. The AS long tube manifolds wont to be ready till Feb/ March but will install and then dyno, with the modded ECU.
