Squeaky brakes

Hi all.

Bit of info if possible.

Hand handbrake fixed.( only one side was working).
Intinally all normal, went for mot handbrake passed this time.
This was a few weeks back. Car hasn't done many miles since.
Brakes now seem very squeaky when you first drive off.
So went for a drive approx 10 miles.
Checked discs.
All warm ( obviously) but passenger side rear very hot and this was side that was repaired.
Now excuse my ignorance but the handbrake brake is different and uses different shoes? So would it make one disc hotter than rest if there is a problem with the hand brake.
There also seems to be more road noise of sorts but I have just fitted a front splitter and sideskirts so not sure if that could be it.
Have contacted the specialist who repaired the handbrake but he hasn't got back to me yet.
Any info welcome before I book it in to a workshop.
Thanks
The car is a granturismo

Sounds like it's been over adjusted on the one side if it's the handbrake and not a caliper with sticking pistons.

Yeah that's a good point.
It could be the caliper but seems a bit of coincidence as the handbrake as just been done

If they removed the caliper to get into the handbrake assembly they may have pushed the pistons back during removal and if they weren't easy to push in that could be the problem.
Not easy to say without seeing it though.
