Chips (paid for), scraps (the bits of fish butter that are left in the pan - free) and pea wet (mushy pea gravy, no actual pea - free). Nowt better. It's a Bolton/Wigan thing I think, don't seem to do it here in Yorkshire.

perfect, I do like mushy peas with cod and chips and a pineapple fritter, haven't had for while now, might have a takeaway tonight

The Last Dance on Netflix is the best sports psychology documentary to date. It has all the tension of Senna, the detail of A good walk spoiled and the character development of the best films. We’re gripped.

Watched the three eps of The Salisbury Poisonings. I thought there were ok, not focussing on the Skripals and a bit on the Russian plot, more about how they cope with cleaning it up and now Novochok (pron. NavaCHOK in Russian, unstressed 'o' always 'a' JFYI) how's that compared to COVID, Jesus that was serious stuff much, much, much worse than COVID. UK did a good job there cleaning it up, that was local auths tho, not Gov, Gov (ie Boris) would have killed us all.....
