Watched Schumacher last night …. It was very good but not as good as I thought it’s was going to be…. Not sure why but then I was so looking forward to it perhaps I hyped myself up. Still a good watch though…

Watched it on Sunday, some bits were good but overall a bit of a let down, it did show the flaws but also his good points especially into supporting his team even down to individual level.

What did come over well was how close the family was especially him and his wife which given his accident has left him with all the support he needs.

all the talk of HGV's on the energy crisis thread reminds me that i must watch that superb film "DUEL" again with Ddennis Weaver, the suspense in that movie is immense

Trenchant episodes 1&2 shows what it is really like. OK only a T boat rather than a V boat but makes the sphincter twitch
You can see these episodes on YT. Have to say. There was a lot more suspense in the case of the 'pipes emergency', than a whole episode of Vigil. And the drama just kept on coming. About half supplied by the boat itself.
I thought these Trafalgar class boats had been decommissioned years ago. Thirty years service is an awfully long time
for an SSN. Going to sea in one of these old boats in particular, definitely requires a massive pair of cojones.
She had a colourful career HMS Trenchant - S91 but most of which we'll never get to hear about.

We are watching the Korean series on Netflix …Squid….Surprisingly addictive if you can put up with the dubbing. Apparently it is currently one of the most watched series Netflix has had.

yes half way through it.. not relaxing but good so far. I prefer the subtitles to the dubbing

If you haven't seen it in 30 years it might not be as suspenseful as you remember

I watched The Warriors recently , I remember being on the edge of my seat in the 70s , bored rigid in 2020

The Warriors is one of my senior students' favourite movies. I watched it out of curiosity. It has not aged well
