The problem I have with streaming services is there’s so much content I’ve lost interest by the time the next season comes out so I tend to only watch series with a few seasons ready.

i watched the 1st season of Fargo when it was on terrestrial IIRC , channel 4 maybe

Goliath on prime is really good , haven’t got round to season 2 yet

BBC I am not a rapist

The description says gripping and it certainly is

The story of 3 young men falsely accused of rape

Unbelievable that one took 2 years to come to court , in court his defence lawyer asked for evidence from her phone but the prosecution didn't have any because the police never passed it on

She got it and there were thousands of texts from her totally blowing her case out of the water

Another lad got released while they made further investigations despite no evidence ,his sister said he was broken , completely changed , heard nothing for months so he rang them to be told she'd dropped the charges and no further action

He hung himself , he went to the shop , bought his favourite drink, bag of crisps and a rope then went into the woods , on the anniversary of his death his mum hung herself , only his sister was left

None of the cases were ever recorded as false allegations of rape

Why don't they get charged

It's a major concern. It's a very horrific example of confirmation bias where we only look for evidence that supports our belief. IMHO not only should the false allegations be pursued, but also the detectives that fail to investigate

<disclaimer: I have no personal experience and am open to other narratives as to how these situations come about>

My son is 3 months older than the lad that hung himself, it really hit home when I saw his date on birth on the gravestone

Craig Charles was accused of rape but acquitted. He wanted a law for anonymity until found guilty. He was even attacked whilst on remand for THREE months. I know that rape is a heinous crime but it might actually help the conviction rate in anonymity was granted for both sides.

Agreed , also women that make proven false allegations should be prosecuted to save whoever comes next from going through the same thing when they decide they've changed their mind the next morning.

Many are, but you don't want to discourage women coming forward if they are genuine. It's a very fine line.

Just noticed misfits is on Netflix , if you haven’t seen it you’ve missed out, it’s brilliant

juvenile delinquents get caught up in an electrical storm while doing community service and develop superpowers
