Morning All

Thanks for all the advice over the last few weeks and guiding me away from the Jaguar to the GranTurismo...looking out the window the car just looks awesome, sounds a beast and just everyone looks to say what the **** is that as so rare to see on the road.

Who worries that Im not sure still what the best practice is for holding it on a steep incline aka hill or driving in stop start traffic at rush hour is interesting, but when you come off the roundabout and join the motorway windows down and hear the thing roar like Godzilla its Fu^^^^^ awesome...

Looking forward to spring/summer when I can take some long drives to the lakes via Settle and open her up.

Glad you've got the right one Stewart, glad we could all be of help. The car was probably the best value MC Shift that's been sold in the UK too, good on yer ;)

The only drawback is that it is public knowledge now as to how cheap you bought it so come resale time if the new buyer is Internet Forum clever he'll know what you paid for it! :alan4:

All said and done - **** it - it's a brilliant car enjoy it to the mac and don't worry about anything :D:D:D

I also find it hard to drive mine in stop start traffic but the amount of attention it gets is insane.

Thanks for your advice and time on that call that was only a few weeks ago, made me hold back for the 4.7 and taking a risk by purchasing before I have the money but a great deal I believe and such a lovely car and Ive not missed the porsche at all.

Try a soft top - roof down come rain, sun, snow, hail, wind, whatever! Never tried it in a hurricane but don't know if you'd hear the exhaust...unless you're MAF or Benny!

Love it, windows down in the rain listening to the howl.... giggling and smiling like a lunatic. The village knows its around as the roar echoes for miles..

Stewart, welcome to the club of people with stupid grins all the time!

Feel for my neighbours, I fire my GTS up every morning at 5.30 without fail and there ain't a quiet way to do that. They'll be starting a petition soon!
