I like that. However, the twin pipes in the middle is a bit too Porsche for me; there should be either one big, or two smaller, pipes at the sides. A very worthy update, if it has a V8.

Saw this last week. I like it.

As Benny said, the twin pipes are a bit Porsche. Surely they will go with a similar set up of the existing GT for the exhaust?

I like it more than the MC20.

Too fussy for my liking as it is. A bit of Ferrari, a bit of F-Type, the nose needs work, and as for those wheels...

It has potential but needs refining - and a different colour.

I think it looks great overall and if they make it a true 2+2 like the old GT then they will have the useable coupe market to themselves.

Aren't those wheels the same as the MC20 ? I like them...

I expect they'll price it more along the lines of recent Astons. Without getting all political, it seems the rich are getting richer and the poor getting more secondhand.
So what do we reckon? £130k ish starting price for the V6? Rising to £150K for the V8S version? Plus options?

Wonder if there will be a V8...V6 Hybrid and Electric maybe the same as the MC20. The performance you get form the V6 hybrid they may think a V8 isn't worth the outlay...…...Who knows though.

Not sure if the above is fan art or a leaked render from Maserati but engine options might be the V6 Neptune engine, V6 hybrid or fully lecky.
I'd take the hybrid. I might get 500 miles from the tank rather than just the 438!

I hope it’s a 2+2 but more compact in size than the current GT which is too large.

I understood new GT and GC are to be fully electric only, no ICE. If that’s the case then I’m out!

I can why that would be though.....If they ban petrol and diesel in 15 years not point really designing any other type of engine surely as they need to start developing this type of powerplant for the future...….

I believe that this may be an artist render rather than any kind of leaked image but it looks to be on the right line. The only official image released to my knowledge so far is this silhouette

Maserati has confirmed that there will be petrol at launch followed by hybrid & EV so I would imagine it will be based on the same powerplant as the MC20 is going to get which will be exciting.

Looking forward to another virtual launch in the coming months hopefully

As per Stuart's comments, that's a render so should be taken with a pinch of salt. We are seeing a fresh new design language from Maserati, starting with MC20, so there will be some design cues to take from it. But otherwise, it's just one person with a decent design programme's idea of what it could look like.

I was told also that there will be a petrol at launch along with the electrified/hybrid versions either at the same time or soon after as per their new strategy.

Hope it has 4 useable seats and sounds the business. Those are my main criteria!
